NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. MANY WILL ENTER, FEW WILL WIN.
1. OVERVIEW
Hot Chelle Rae is a chart-topping rock band that has played to sold out shows, performed with A-list celebs, and even landed themselves an American Music Award... And now they want to make a music video starring YOU! To enter the "I Like It Like That" Super Contest, all you have to do is download the instrumental version of HCR's hit-song 'I Like It Like That' (and the lyrics to the song if you need 'em) and put your own spin on the track! You can sing by yourself, or have your friends, pets, and family members join in on the action! The best contestants will have a chance to be featured in a special 'I Like It Like That' music video, and the grand-prize winner will get a personal shout out from Hot Chelle Rae themselves! So, what are you waiting for? Press play on the song and the record button on your camera... It’s time to rock out!
2. WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
All United States residents, with the exception of those residing in Rhode Island, are eligible to participate in and win this contest. No employees of Sponsor or KIDZ BOP, or its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, manufacturers, licensees or agents, advertising and promotion agencies, or their immediate family members or those living in the same household, is eligible to participate in this contest. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
3. HOW TO ENTER:
• Users must create an "account" by registering on KidzBop.com.
• Users then create their own videos to enter into the contest, and post them on the site (subject to KIDZ BOP screening).
• Only one entry per user per contest.
• Once a user has won a Super Sponsored Contest they may must wait 6 months from the time of winning before they can enter another Super Sponsored Contest.
• Requirements for Submissions:
• Must be own original creation.
• We will NOT accept videos that contain:
• Personally identifiable information of any kind, including full names (first names are okay), addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, school names, personal websites, etc.;
• Content any longer than 3 minutes 30 seconds in length;
• Real or mock violence, dangerous stunts or obscene/offensive material;
• Negative stereotypes, offensive language or offensive lyrics;
• Bullying, gossip or negative comments/content regarding another member and/or child;
• URLs to other websites; or
• Content that shares too much information about feelings that are very private.
• We will also not accept videos that contain the following:
• Technical Difficulties (no sound or image); or
• Copyrighted clips from a TV show, movie or music video, or infringe on any other person’s or entity’s rights.
• Potential winners in Maine under the age of 18 and potential winners from any other state or jurisdiction under the age of 13 must comply with parental consent process within the stated time frame or prize is forfeited.
4. CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD
The Contest entry period will begin on December 14, 2011 and it will run until January 4, 2012.
5. HOW TO WIN:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Many will enter, few will win.
• All interested users cast their votes for their favorite entries. Each individual user IP address may vote up to once per day during the voting period. Users who create multiple user accounts for the purpose of voting for their entries will be disqualified from winning.
• On the 30th day after the contest start date, the top 3 vote getters will be the winners.
• Out of the top 3 vote getters, KIDZ BOP, in its sole discretion, will choose who is awarded the first, second, and third place prizes. KIDZ BOP reserves the right to monitor vote tallies and disqualify any entries which KIDZ BOP, in its sole discretion, believes to have violated these Official Rules.
6. PRIZES:
The total retail value of the prizes for this contest is $963.82
• 1st place
A $100 gift card, Hot Chelle Rae Shout Out, Hot Chelle Rae Autographed Mini-poster, KIDZ BOP 20 ($13.98 value), KIDZ BOP Sings Monster Ballads ($11.98 value) and KIDZ BOP 19 ($11.98 value)- Total prize value: $537.94
• 2nd place
A $50 gift card, Hot Chelle Rae Autographed Mini-poster, KIDZ BOP 20 ($13.98 value), KIDZ BOP Sings Monster Ballads ($11.98 value) and KIDZ BOP 19($11.98 value)- Total prize value: $287.94
• 3rd place
A $25 gift card, Hot Chelel Rae Autographed Mini-poster, KIDZ BOP 20 ($13.98 value), KIDZ BOP Sings Monster Ballads ($11.98 value) and KIDZ BOP 19($11.98 value)- Total prize value: $137.94
Sponsor shall own all right, title and interest in and to all materials and services furnished or provided by the selected Grand Prize Winner in connection with Grand Prize, throughout the world in perpetuity.
If the Grand Prize Winner is unavailable during this time period, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Certain restrictions may apply. Grand Prize Winners and their travel companions shall be solely responsible securing all necessary travel documentation. All federal, state and local taxes in connection with the Prize are the sole responsibility of the parent/legal guardian of the Grand Prize Winner.
The Grand Prize Winner, or his/her parent/legal guardian, will be notified via email that he/she has won. Participant and his/her parent/legal guardian acknowledge and agree that as a condition of being awarded the Prize, the Grand Prize Winner must sign, notarize and return, within seven (7) days following attempted notification, the prize acceptance form included in the notification emails. Failure to comply with the above procedure will result in disqualification and the Grand Prize will be will be forfeited and may be awarded to another Participant.
All potential winners are subject to verification. All taxes on the prize(s) are the winner’s responsibility. No cash equivalent and all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value. Prize(s) consist only of those items specifically listed as part of the prize – any item, cost or expense not specifically listed as part of the prize(s) is the sole responsibility of the winner. No more than the advertised number of prize(s) will be awarded. Only one prize per eligible person is permitted. Winners must comply with all rules as published. Failure to comply with the contest requirements for any reason or return of prize notification or prize as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of prize. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor and KIDZ BOP may use the winner’s operator/facility name, name, address (city, state), likeness, and/or prize information for contextual purposes worldwide, including the internet, without limitation and without further payment or consideration, except where prohibited by law.
7. GENERAL RULES:
By entering or participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these official Rules.
8. RELEASE AND LIMITS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (iv) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize or while traveling to or from any prize-related activity. If for any reason an entrants entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrants sole remedy is another entry in the Contest; provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Contest for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims. By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Kidz Bop, and any promotional partners, each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliate and related companies, and each of its and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any losses, damages, rights, claim or cause of action of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of participation in the Contest or resulting directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Promotion, including without limitation personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.
